About Roxy
Roxy is a lovely little lady who is very ready to fall in love with her new forever family! She would love to curl up on your lap to cuddle and snuggle into you watching the world go by.
Roxy is also bright, playful and sweet. A very easygoing affectionate personality, she loves to play with her toys and follow her human around devotedly. Roxy loves playing chasings and rumbling with her brothers and still needs lots of long puppy naps after her activities.
Roxy has been socialised with other dogs and cats and is very inquisitive about them. She is will need ongoing socialisation with dogs to make sure she stays dog friendly over time. This gorgeous girl will grow up to be a medium to large dog and an absolute stunner at that! She will need to be active and will require regular exercise to keep her happy and healthy.
Roxy would suit a home with or without another dog, as long as she was made to feel a part of the family and was given the time and attention she deserves. If she was to be an only dog, she would need to continue socialising with other dogs, as well as ongoing training so that she grows up to be a well mannered, socialised young lady.
We would love to help get you started with that, so our amazing supporters, Best Friends - Erina, have kindly offered to include a 5 week Puppy training course with all of our Puppy adoptions (up to 16wks of age)....The Best Friends Puppy Pre-School service is a fun and interactive five-week training course that covers puppy behaviours, diet, health, grooming, exercise and play, with an emphasis on socialisation, command training, health and care. Their aim is to teach you positive ways to train your puppy in basic skills such as ‘sit’, ‘drop’, ‘stay’, and how to walk well on a lead, but also how to control your puppy’s not so desirable behaviours like toileting inside, biting, mouthing and separation anxiety.
Roxy is yet to have her vet work done but we are happy to organise meets in the meantime, and secure an adoption with a non refundable deposit so that she can head off to her new home before Christmas once her vet work is complete.
