Wanted: a home with a nice comfy bed, no other fur residents and unlimited pats and kisses on the head.
Meet Maggie. This gorgeous older lady is on the lookout for her retirement home.
Maggie likes to spend her days on her carer’s bed, soaking in the sunrays during the day and getting pats and kisses on the head (her favourite) at night.
Maggie has obviously been someone's pet at some point, but found herself without a family in her senior years. This little old lady was not in great shape when she arrived in care and had big matts in fur and was very underweight. After some blood tests it was determined that Maggie has an over active thyroid. This means that Maggie will need medication for the rest of her life and high quality food.
Since coming into care Maggie has been enjoying the best of everything and would expect that to continue in her forever home. Initially very grumpy and suspicious of her carer, this calico queen now sleeps on her carer every night and has no problems meowing for pats. Although still a little grumpy at times, it has become very clear that this gorgeous has a heart of gold and just wants to be safe and loved.
This gorgeous little miss has had a tough time, but if you feel like you can give her the home she deserves…..
