About Garie
**We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at http://www.maggiesrescue.org/adoption-enquiry-dogs. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile.**
Hello there, I'm Garie! I have a Tibetan Spaniel temperament and a Corgi body and booty. I have extra soft golden fur, a toothy grin, and I look like a puppy even though I'm three years old (that’s right – I’ll be this cute forever!).
If you are a woman, I will become your best friend straight away and shower you with unconditional love and attention for the rest of your life. If you are a (straight) man, I will still love you and may help you find a woman at the park if there isn't one already in the house. I proudly wear my rainbow scarf as my foster dad and his boyfriend are my favourite people in the world.
I am completely house trained, however, I am a bit scared of strangers and dogs so I will sometimes bark at them to protect you. I think I'm a bigger dog than I am and will need my human to continue socialising me at the park.
MY IDEAL HOME: I love to be around humans all the time, but I'm totally OK if my parents need to work full time. I am not fussy about the size of the house, backyard, number of toys etc. - I just want pats.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I am quite lazy, but I need at least one good long walk or run each day so my Corgi butt doesn’t get too curvy. At home, I will plonk right next to you for naps, pats, and company and can stay there forever.
MT SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I don't really like children as they take attention away from me, but teenagers are fine.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I prefer to be the only pet because I like having 100% of the pats. I do not like cats. I will protect my humans from all the cats.

Adoption details
We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at http://www.maggiesrescue.org/adoption-enquiry-dogs. Please use this link rather than the 'find out more' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
We will then organise a time for you to meet with the foster carer and the pet you are interested in adopting.
Maggie's wants this to be a good experience for you, and we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog as your situation may not meet the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of this period we will transfer the microchip to your details and the adoption is complete.
Your pet is a Maggie's Pet for Life, please consider this before adopting.
