About Bluey ~ Blue Cattle Dog (on trial 15/12/17)
The very handsome, super friendly Bluey is an Australian Blue Cattle dog who is 12 months old.
Bluey loves to please his people and is a very loyal companion. He is great with kids and very gentle around them so would make a great family dog.
As Bluey is only young, he is very energetic and enjoys playing fetch. His favourite toy therefore is a ball.
Bluey has had basic training and is housetrained. He currently sleeps outside in his kennel but enjoys coming inside for a bit of family time, happily lazing on his bed watching a bit of television with everyone.
Bluey enjoys a walk or a run and would benefit from a walking harness as gets a bit distracted when other dogs are around as he wants to to have a bit of fun with them. He doesn’t need a furry companion, unless it is a lovely female, as he is quite happy to be around his family. He isn’t suitable with cats or pocket pets unless he can be separated from them.
Now Bluey does tend to bark at people walking past so having a yard that he can’t see out would help.
Bluey would suit a family, with children over 5 years old as he does tend to jump up to say hello. He would be fine to left at home alone as long as he has plenty of exercise and left with toys and a bone.
Sharron is taking all enquiries for Bluey so please contact her on 0423 331057 or email sstudley3@bigpond.com. Blueys is located in Cardiff, Newcastle and is available for adoption interstate.
Bluey’s adoption fee is $500 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
