Hi My Name is Yogi
Yogi Bear is looking for a forever home. He is gentle, calm and well behaved. He walks off the lead and comes when he is called. He absolutely loves other dogs and puppies and he is in love with my cat. Yogi wants to be near people and is happy lying at your feet or sneaking into your room and lying with his head on your pillow. He is a giant adorable teddy bear ❤️

Well we have had Yogi Bear for nearly a week now and what a big beautiful baby he is turning out to be. He chases the ball, loves his walks, comes when he is called, can walk off lead beside you but won't go in the surf, choosing to wait patiently until while
you have a swim. I think he is scared of the waves but he is getting more brave each time we go. He is in love with our cat who bosses him around all day but Yogi waits patiently to get some attention from him even if it is only to swipe at him. He is house trained and thinks that it is ok to sneak away and lie on your pillow. He is so calm and just wants to be near people. He would love another dog to play with but would also be happy to get all of the attention too. He is happy in or outside but does think he is a lap dog so inside is preferred. We love him but cannot keep him and hope someone will love him enough to give him a home forever.
Adoption details
If you should choose to adopt a dog from SEQ K9 Rescue:
You will be asked to complete an adoption application.
Completing this form helps us to determine if the dog is suited to your circumstances. Some dogs have special needs so we are looking for the perfect forever home for all of our dog's needs.
After you have completed and returned the adoption application we decide if you are a good match for the dog you are applying for. Sometimes we may recommend another dog we have in our care.
Next, we will arrange for you to meet the dog/puppy.
We ask that bring along your family and any other animals you have in your household. A yard check (or yard photos) will be checked and only then will approval be considered.
Please remember sometimes there are several applications for the same dog so this process may take up to a week.
The adoption fee must be paid before any of our animals are released from our care.
We also offer a 2 week trial period - if you have any issues with your chosen dog/puppy you must contact SEQ K9 Rescue via text immediately.
If for any reason the dog needs to be returned to the rescue organisation, the adoption fee minus a $50 non-refundable deposit will be refunded. Your refund will be returned via bank transfer within 10 working days.
If the pet is returned after the trial period generally no refund will be made.
Interstate adoptions may be requested to supply additional information and photographs of the proposed environment for the animal. Interstate adopter must pay transport costs in addition to the adoption fee.
If an animal is to return from an interstate adoption, the adopter is to pay all costs to return the animal to SEQ K9 Rescue in Brisbane.
