Hilux

Hilux is an intelligent, loving big pup that is great with kids of all ages.
He enjoys being in the company of humans and is very affectionate.
He has good recall, sits on command and whilst inside knows to sit in his "bed". He has learned boundaries (not to go into the carpet bedrooms).

Hilux came to Starting Over Dog Rescue after falling off the back of a ute and sustained some injuries.
He suffered a severely dislocated hip and fractured his front leg along with many cuts and grazes. He required a femoral head and neck excision and his front leg was in a cast. Hilux has recovered extremely well, however will require a home where he will be taken on daily walks which will aid his recovery by strengthening his muscles aswell as given a massage a few times a week which he LOVES.
His surgery was performed at Yarra Ranges Animal Hospital in Lilydale where the consulting vet is keen to keep in touch with the adoptee (Hilux stole his heart ).
