About Rusty
Rusty is a six year old spoodle. He is desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and heartworm treated. Microchip number 978102100065837.
Rusty is an all round lovely little man. He is dog friendly, social with cats, great with kids and very people focused. Sadly Rusty recently lost his adoring Mum and his extended family are devastated but cannot keep him so we are focused on finding him a new forever.
Rusty can sit & drop on command, sit & drop stay, walks well on lead and has a great recall. He can be a little bit needy as he is so people focused but does not present with separation anxiety issues. He is just so happy to hang with his people and to have your attention. He has been raised with young children and would be suitable to become a member of a family with kids.
We have been working on the occasional jumping up or scratching on the door to come inside, both at very minor levels, and he can be a bit of a licker. Otherwise behavioural problems are non-existent. Rusty is fostering with several other dogs and two cats and is fine with all. He would enjoy a home where perhaps a mum is home raising kids and he could be a part of that, or would make an excellent therapy dog for a professional in the industry.
