About Pudding and Checkers
These two little ones were found (assumed dumped) next to a railway line.
When caught they were filthy, starving and desperately underweight. We were devastated to learn they had at some time consumed gravel and it was found in their stool.
Their carer definitely feels these two had been in a home at some stage as they are very gentle, non-aggressive cats. They never use their claws, don't growl or hiss but are very very wary.
Checkers is a black and white juvenile, very playful, curious and likes to be close to humans, following you around and sleeping close.
Pudding is a Russian Blue x, approx one year old, and exhibits many similar characteristics. He is a homebody, staid, docile, shy, retiring, and again likes to be close to humans. They are both learning to trust again and with patience and love they are blossoming and re learning a confidence and charm.
It was evident, when these two were first rescued, that they have an incredibly strong bond. They look after each other closely. Pudding would initially shelter Checkers under his tummy with arms wrapped around him. They obviously need to stay together as they not only play together but rely on each other for security and love.
Pudding and Checkers are learning to love and trust humans again and we would love a home that can offer them this opportunity to continue that growth in trust and stability. In return they will give you hours of joy and devotion.
These boys need a gentle and understanding home where they can continue to thrive. They are healthy, vaccinated, FIV negative, desexed and up to date with flea and worm treatments.
Medical notes
Pudding and Checkers are vaccinated, fiv negative, desexed and up to date with flea and worm treatment. They will be microchipped prior to adoption.
