Shandy

Hi my name is Shandy, and unlike the boring beverage I am named after, I am far from boring! I am also a very good girl so I dont understand how I ended up in the pound. I dont jump on people, only nudge your hand to remind you to pat me, I like other dogs but I am not annoying and in their face, I really just like to please the humans. I know behaviours such as sit and I am learning all about this "leave it" behaviour. Did I mention I love the mini humans too, they are pretty awesome at giving pats and I know that if I hang with them I will be guaranteed to get lots of attention!
I am currently left home alone for 8 hours a day with my furbrother and we are very well behaved, we have lots of toys to play with a nice sturdy fence to stop us from going to meet new people, so my home must have 6 foot fencing, in my previous home, I tended to wander to find someone to pat me. I am not a barker, I am very quiet and my foster family sometimes forget I am there, until I nudge them again for pats! I met a cat, it was strange and hissed at me so I just left it alone, I guess I could share my home with one. I would also be fine as an only dog if you continued to do lots of training and kept me occupied when home alone.
