About Gus and Ellie ~ Pugaliers (on trial 17/1/2018)
Meet the gorgeous duo - Gus and Ellie!
Gus (10 years) and Ellie (9 years) are Pugaliers, a cross between a King Charles Cavalier and Pug. They are best mates and have been together since puppyhood so we really need them to stay together as they are a bonded pair.
Both are toilet trained, house trained and sleep outside in a dog bed in their kennel but would be fine to sleep inside as well. They have had a bed inside during the day that they will happily laze away on. They are happy to be left on their own, will occasionally bark at neighboring animals, have never dug holes and love attention.
Both are keen walkers (at a casual pace), are used to dog parks, live for a good feed but aren't overweight, love the company of people and are very good with children.
Gus and Ellie are both in good health, neither has had any major problems over the years. Gus isn't a fan of his ears being played with but otherwise both welcome regular rubs and can be quite playful. They would suit either a family who are willing to give them some time and affection or an older couple that want 2 dogs that will provide them with excellent companions.
If you are interested in meeting these two lovely dogs, Sue is taking all enquiries for them. Please contact Sue on 0419634957 or email: suemasens65@hotmail.com. Gus and Ellie are located in Adamstown Heights, Newcastle and are available for adoption interstate.
Gus and Ellie’s adoption fee is $300 and they are desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
