I am an absolute delight to have around, very smart and also striking in looks! My foster carers are going to be SO sad when they have to say goodbye to me. From the moment they received me into their home, they wanted to keep me, but their current circumstances mean they can’t. Their loss will definitely be my new home’s gain!

I love to give cuddles to my foster-mum around her legs and to fall asleep on her feet whenever I can. I have a very gentle nature, although I do also have a lot of energy. And because I am a puppy, I’m learning that jumping, mouthing and digging aren’t good, so my new family will need to keep working on reinforcing those things to make sure I can grow up into the very best natured animal I can be. With strict boundaries, regular training, and daily exercise I’m little enough that these things will fade into the distance in no time. When you’re a puppy, there’s so much to learn!

I am a playful puppy and crave attention at times, although I don’t need it constantly. So don’t worry, I won’t take up all your time. I sleep a lot during the day, so I think I’d be okay being home by myself if you need to go to work, as long as you can take me out daily for a regular walk or play.

So far my foster carers haven’t been able to take me out of their yard because I haven’t had my full vaccinations. So I haven’t been exposed to other animals yet, except for birds and I’m fine with them. There are primary school aged children at my foster-home and I’m great with them. I can’t wait to be taken out! I just know I’m going to love a big open space to run and play in.

I am expected to grow to a medium-large size. I’ve been toilet trained for weeks now – I wouldn’t dream of ‘going’ inside the house!

Flying to get to my new home is absolutely worth it for remotely located animals like me - it means we have the opportunity to be adopted. Flights to Perth for dogs are capped at $150 thanks to QANTAS, and I can fly elsewhere in Australia too.
