My name is Roxy! I’m a beautiful natured, active girl who loves to go for walks and runs, and to chase balls. I’m not very good at returning them! Who knew you were supposed to bring them back?! I sit and will wait for my food. I respond better to hand signals than voice commands.

I am good with people of all ages, including children. I would love to live with another playful doggy friend. I am okay with cats too, although if they run away from me, I like to chase them he he! But I’m fine with the kittens in my foster home.

I don’t like water very much, so bathing me is a bit of a challenge. That’s why I have some Pilbara pink in some of my photos! My true colours are black and white.

I really enjoy chewing but it’s not a problem at all if I have enough exercise and interesting activities in my life, I’ll only chew my doggy toys, or at the worst a bit of my doggy bed. I would love it if you put together an amazing collection of big chew toys for me that you can switch around so I don’t get bored. Treats hidden inside toys would be the bomb for me! And when you go out, I would love it if you leave me with a big frozen ice block made of stock, or a big frozen bone.

The breeds in my cross are both working breeds so it’s important for me to run and to learn new things with you. That will wear out my active brain and body and make me oh, so happy! I can already sit, stay and drop. I love to practice them with food rewards and I’m looking forward to learning some new things, too.

A few hours in a plane is absolutely worth it for a remotely located animal like me because it means I have the opportunity to be adopted. My airfare to Perth is $150 thanks to QANTAS, and I can fly elsewhere in Australia too.
