Meet Izar!

Unique is an understatement! His looks make him stand out in the crowd but you already know that because you clicked on his profile because of his looks!

The colours of his coat have an amazing swirl colour through his entire body. Speaking of coats his coat needs to be treated with the respect it deserves! He has a double coat and will require regular grooming. The benefits of Izar is, he can loose weight a lot easier when summer is coming by dropping his coat... if only we were that lucky!

If you’re an adventure seeker - Izar will seek with you. He thoroughly enjoys trips to the local bush tracks, wading through the river crossings and looking over waterfalls. He is good off-leash on these walks and travelling to these adventures is a breeze as he is a great passenger in the car!

His daily routine does require stimulation. A 15 mins walk will just not cut it. Izar enjoys seeing the sunrise on his morning hour walks. After his walks he will happily share his couch with you while he naps. He is not a crazy in your face dog but he loves to be within arms reach always for a cuddle and a pat. He is a very calm boy when meeting new people and welcoming guests in the house. He never jumps up, just a gentleman with manners.

Izar loves sharing his adventures with other dogs. He is still a gentleman when meeting dogs too. In playtime it can get a little over exciting for him, but with continued socialisation he will learn its not that exciting and to keep his manners in check.

He is a smarty pants and is showing amazing signs with his basic obedience. His sledding dreams are over and walks nicely on lead. However if a family wanted to chase his dream he would be ever so thank full!. A family that will continue his training and provide stimulation is important as he does get bored being home alone, so he will require an active family that will make him part of the family outings and not left home often alone.

Izar is best suited to living with another large, easy going dog or with someone home most days. He should be allowed inside to hang with his family and have an comfy bed to sleep on.
