Rufus

When he isn't busy playing fetch and shaking paws with the animal attendants, Rufus can be found relaxing on a deck with a cold drink and the BBQ going. At least, that is where he would love to be! A middle-aged boy with rugged looks and a sweet nature, Rufus is looking for a relaxed home where he can chill out with his human companions, going for daily strolls around the neighbourhood. A big backyard in which to chase a tennis ball would also be ideal. Rufus is a clever pooch who would also enjoy opportunities to engage with interactive toys and puzzles, especially when everyone is out at work. In his past life Rufus found living with another canine was not to his liking; he would prefer to be an only dog in his new forever home so that he can receive all of your love and attention. Rufus would best suit a guardian with a calm and gentle approach who understands when he needs his space. While he would be happy to meet a family with children, he may decide that the littlest family members are a bit too energetic and overwhelming for him. So if you can provide a place of serenity for Rufus, and you enjoy Sunday lunches by the pool, you may just have found a new best friend!
