About Tess ~ Staffy (On trial 29/11/2017)
Hi I’m Tess! I’m a 10 year old Staffy girl but I don’t let my age define me. I’m still very much young at heart.
I love following my humans wherever they go. I am the best companion and I want to be with you all the time. I am an inside dog and I love getting lots of cuddles.
I am a smart girl and I know that it’s time to sit if the food or treats are coming. I live with a toy Poodle at the moment and we get along well. My mum says however that I should be slowly introduced to other dogs just in case they are not my cup of tea.
I really love my human foster brother but he is already 11 and big enough for me. Mum says she wouldn’t recommend a family with small children as I can be a bit boisterous at times.
I like my walks but I don’t have to go too far. It’s all about the smells you know? I am very inquisitive in my nature and have to stop and look at everything. I also love the car and going for a ride. I’m not really interested in toys but will take a cuddle or a tummy rub any time of the day. I am toilet trained and happy to chill at home while you are at work. But when you come back, I will greet you with a big tail wag.
If you are looking for a great companion, loyal and loving, then I’m the girl for you.
For more information or to meet me, please contact please contact Susan on suzigil@dodo.com.au or 0420 207 766. I am in foster care in Jewells, NSW and am available for adoption interstate.
My adoption fee is only $100 and I am desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
