About Winnie ~ Foxy X (on trial 21/12/2017)
Hi, I’m Winnie! (short for Winter as my coat is so beautiful and white). I’m a little 3 year young girl weighing in at 6kgs and am a Foxy x. I have so, so much love to give! I promise I would be the perfect family member and make you very happy with my gorgeous nature.
I am extremely affectionate. I am at the door ready to greet you every time you come home with so much excitement to see you, whether it’s been five minutes or five hours! I am ever so gentle and quiet. I just adore cuddling up with and being close to you. Human company is my absolute favourite thing, closely followed by tummy rubs. I am good with children and love when they give me pats too.
I get along very well with other dogs enjoying getting to know my two foster fur sisters, however have not as yet encountered other pets since coming into care. I have settled and adapted to my new environment very easily.
I’m not overly energetic, wanting to snuggle with you more than anything so am easy to look after. I have been going on walks with my foster family and walk on the lead very well, I stay by my foster mummy’s side the whole time. I’m very loyal.
My Foster family have also been toilet training me, and I have not had a single accident yet. I am obedient and am learning quickly and well. I’m currently sleeping inside with them on the floor by the bed and am predominantly inside, just as I like it.
My ideal fur-ever home would be where someone is at home more often than not as I just really love being around people.
For more information or to meet Winnie, please contact her foster carer Megan on meg.pool@outlook.com. Winnie is in foster care in Largs, NSW and is available for adoption interstate.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
