About Marlin
Marlin is one of 4 dogs rescued from a backyard breeding situation. Over the past few months Marlin has come leaps and bounds from the little dog that ran and hid when you'd just look at him. While it takes a little while to gain his trust, once you do, you will be the apple of his eye and the light of his life. He now enjoys off leash walks with his foster brothers at the beach and dog park and is coming along well in his crash course in socialisation with dogs and humans.
He rides well in the car but may need to be restrained as he thinks he travels best in your lap! Marlin sleeps well through night, is quiet (if there aren't any squeaky toys around), very playful and hasn't displayed any signs of anxiety when left alone with his doggy pals.
His toilet training is ongoing but he is a fast learner and catching on quickly. Marlin MUST go to a home with another another friendly, confident and well-adjusted small canine friend. We feel he would not cope with younger children but we think he would be OK with cats. A home which is quiet and adults who have time and patience for Marlin would be perfect for him and understand that there will be some adjustment to his new home.
He will need continual training, socialisation and a good long walk at least once a day - and toys, the more the better! In return you will get a lifetime of unconditional love and a best friend but you must be prepared to help him on the way in your home.
We reiterate that under no circumstances will Marlin be rehomed as the only dog in the household.
You will need to be prepared to travel to Figtree (Wollongong area ) for meet and greet if one is arranged and be able to bring your dog/s.
