About Cedar
Introducing Cedar, She was rescued by OTC as She was left to die in a rural pound. Since coming into care Cedar has opened up with her personality and her overall health has improved with the great nutrition, the love an care shown and getting all her vet work completed.
Cedar sleeps in her crate at night, she isn’t a fan of her crate but we are working on it and she isn’t toilet trained enough to not have it at night. Cedar is a well behaved puppy once she settles into her crate.
During the day Cedar spends time outside playing with the other dogs. Cedar enjoys going on little adventures, so a good fence is a must.
Cedar loves playing with toys an eating bones during the day and laying in the sun. In the evening and mornings Cedar comes inside and hangs with her foster family and the other dogs. Cedar is a typical little puppy running and skidding around the house laying on sofas and beds and playing with toys.
Cedar loves stuffed toys and whatever is in another dogs mouth. Cedar loves to play with toys that are almost the size of her and can fit large balls in her mouth.
Cedar loves to snuggle up on your lap and get pats she loves attention !! If there is a lap or corner of a sofa or bed that looks comfy you know she will be curled up in a ball there as soon as she sees it.
Cedar has not been tested with children or cats, but would fit perfectly into an active family lifestyle. Cedar is great with other dogs, she loves to play with the bigger dogs. Cedar is very active and play full so wouldn’t suit a dog that likes to be left alone and that isn’t active.
Cedar is incredibly cute and loveable she knows how to sit when she wants something and is a world champ at puppy dog eyes. Cedar's nick name is Baby for a reason she is just like a playful baby you can hold her and carry her just like a baby, she can sook like a baby and can sleep like a baby. She is very food motivated so is easy to train.

Adoption details
Before applying, please consider and finalise the following: real estate approval, fence repair if needed, outside shelter areas and look into the dog's breed dietary requirements eg large breed vs medium breed.
Once you are ready to adopt, please complete the OTC Adoption Application questionnaire below. This is not a contract or agreement of any kind, just an expression of interest in the animal. We will not authorise meets unless this has been completed and only approved applications may meet the dogs. Once you are approved and have submitted all relevant information, we will organise for you to meet the dog at your home, or in a public place. If you have other animals they must be at the meet.
If at the meet, you and the dog get along- you have the option of either taking the dog on the spot (in exchange for the full adoption fee paid upfront, and contract signed)- or placing the dog on hold for up to 2 days without any holding fee applicable. When adoption begins you will be provided with 7 days' worth of food for the dog, as well as what brand and type of food it is, so that you may change their diet carefully and slowly, or purchase more, if needed.
*PLEASE NOTE we do not hold dogs for 3 days or longer, without a non-refundable holding deposit of $100. If you are unwilling to put a deposit on the dog, we will continue to advertise and speak with other potential adopters and so you may miss out. We have had to make the deposit non refundable to avoid time-wasters, especially when it comes to puppies under 5 months of age. The $100 holding deposit is then subtracted from the outstanding adoption fee, which is to be paid at collection of the dog. Eg if full adoption fee is $450, and you pay a $100 holding fee so we can hold the dog for a week- the day you collect the dog you will sign and adoption contract, and pay the remaining $350 fee of which $50 is non-refundable.
During the trial period, should the pet become ill, you must present it to the OTC-approved vet clinic in your area and OTC will cover any treatment needed.
On commencement of the trial period, OTC will send you a copy of your signed contract, the vaccination cards, desexing certificate and microchip number implant details.
So. Ready to roll? Then fill out the attached short form, and we will be in contact to successful applicants asap. Feel free to follow us up via Facebook page inbox.
