About Mia
MIA & MOOSE NEED TO STAY TOGETHER
OLDER CHILDREN ONLY because Moose jumps up.
Special training paid by SRV offered depending on area.
Hi my name is Mia, I really want to stay with my friend Moose, we’ve lived together nearly all our lives so hopefully there is someone out there that wants two dogs for the price of one Smile Like Moose I have pedigree papers.
I’m a lovely girl who isn’t quite as confident as Moose. I’m very affectionate and just love cuddles and being around my owners. I sleep on my back which makes people laugh. I didn’t go to obedience school like Moose did but I know how to sit and walk well on the lead.
I don’t like dogs rushing up at me and can retaliate if they are rude enough to crown my space.
I really need to go to obedience school with my new owners as the previous owners that adopted us didn't take us as promised and now I can be reactive around other dogs, so unless you're willing to commit to obedience school with us please don't apply.
Below are some notes on my behavioural assessment.
Summary of Test –summary of observation and testing
• Mia is a very human-oriented dog with good levels of sociability
• Mia showed some high levels of stress during the testing by way of nil investigation, heavy panting
and refusing food
• Is very tolerant of touch and restraint but will jump up to your face suddenly
• Nil reaction to noises and sounds and any other environmental factors, other than being in an
unfamiliar area and owner being outside
• Low drive levels and no interest in the toy
• Did not take food, not even when offered by hand and therefore was not able to test for resource
guarding.
• Mia knows sit and responds well to her name. Walks very well on lead and seems to have lots of
handler focus.
• Nil reaction to other dogs at time of testing but as per owner she may react if another dog
approaches rudely.
Adoption Criteria
• All family situations
• No tested with cats.
