About Bentley ~ Gsd x Staffy (on trial 14/12/2017)
Hi, I’m Bentley! I’m a 5 year old German Shepherd x Staffy boy and I am a big, big sweetie! I absolutely love attention and crave hugs and pats all the time. I also love my food and walks. I’m a very quiet dog and love to be by my human’s side as much as possible. Once I get to know you I am very loyal and loving.
I get nervous and can suffer from separation anxiety at times. I may try getting out to find you so I will need very secure fencing but once I’m settled down in my new home this will pass.
I love being indoors but I don’t mind being outside and will need some toys for stimulation. I’m not a very active dog, I’m more comfortable lying on the couch all day with my human or playing in the yard but I do enjoy my daily walks.
I adore children but I sometimes forget about my body size so children above 3 years old would be best. I get along fine with cats and other small animals and I love having another dog companion living with me. It is very important that my new home has 6 foot fencing and preferably someone who can spend time with me. I am a big sook and will be your best friend for life.
For more information or to meet Bentley, please contact Donna 0466099426 or email trudgetty@hotmail.com. Bentley is in foster care in Clarencetown, NSW (north of Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.
Bentley's adoption fee is $350 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
