Ava

Ava is a 6yr old Staffy X with the sweetest nature. Very well behaved and such a placid dog.
Loves attention & especially love cuddles. Enjoys to play tug of war but not so keen on chasing balls. Children are OK.
Since being in care Ava has been diagnosed with a malignant cancer and because of the cancer's location it is basically inoperable. It is very sad as Ava is such beautiful and friendly dog. The vet said it is very difficult to determine how long Ava will survive, it could be anywhere from 6 months to some years.
Ava has a white pigment and it is believed that exposure to the sun has been the main cause of her current condition. Therefore from now on she will need to be an indoor dog.
Ava is not suffering and still enjoying life but as soon as she shows signs of distress we will need to take the option of euthanasia, with the cost being borne by CADAWI.

So we are appealing to anyone that may open up their arms to care for Ava so she can enjoy her remaining time until the inevitable happens.
