About Mocha
Hello everyone, my name is Mocha and I have been through quite a lot in the last few months. I was found as a stray, and the Rescue Hub volunteers fought for over 2 months with barristers to allow me to leave the pound alive. You see, I used to be dog aggressive, but with a lot of training and love, I can now be walked near other dogs without issues.
Right now, I am in need of a caring foster home who can help with my training. Once I pass my final assessment, I can be adopted into a loving forever home. My foster home will need to have no other pets so I can focus on being a good girl.
The Rescue Hub dog behaviourist is happy to help out my new foster home with training tips and phone support if needed. Plus, the Rescue Hub team organise a group training session with the behaviourist every 3-4 weeks which I am allowed to attend for free!
I used to live with children in a previous home, but that was a few years ago. I absolutely love to play with toys, especially tug-o-war. The volunteers also bring me yummy raw bones which I devour. I know how to sit for a treat, walk on a loose lead and learning to stay.
I am currently in temporary kennels, and would LOVE a foster home before Christmas.
Medical notes
Mocha is already desexed, vaccinated, flea and tick treated and will be wormed prior to going into a foster home.
