Maloo ~ Border Collie x Lab (on trial 3/12/17)

Hi I’m the absolutely gorgeous Maloo. I’m a 9 week old male Border Collie x Labrador x cute!!!. I should grow up to be a medium to large doggy.

I get on great with other dogs and currently live with my foster brother Jack and sister Romy (8 week old DRN pups) and my foster sister a 3 year old Blue Heeler who I love playing with. I am also growing up with 2 toddlers and a baby who I love giving kisses too and receiving heaps of cuddles and plenty of playtime.

I’m a quiet pup and enjoy snuggling with you. I sit back and take everything in but also can be spontaneous and have a burst of energy to wrestle and play. Having Border Collie in me though means I need lots of playtime, running around and I need to be kept busy. I travel very well in the car and sleep most of the time travelling when I find a comfy spot.

I am still working on toilet training and learning basic commands well. I come to my name running and I’m starting to sit when it’s tucker time too. But being a puppy all this will take time and I need your patience as I learn and thrive.

My foster mum thinks I’m going to be so super loyal for my right forever home. I reckon she would adopt me herself if she could! I like to stay close to you even when we are out and about I won’t go too far from you and happily lay at your feet. I’m very relaxed when I’m not playing and will just lay there with you.

I do enjoy being indoors but love exploring outdoors as well and sometimes I prefer sleeping in my kennel too!

When it comes to walking on the lead I’m still learning the whole concept this but I follow the best I can. So be patient with me while I learn please.

I reckon my ideal home needs to be full of love, fun, energy and cuddles!!! I like a few toys around to play with especially if you’re not home but would prefer someone home most of the time. I need an energetic home as I need to be exercised and played with heaps daily, go for runs and play at the beach and parks. I need good fencing, a warm dry place to sleep; a playmate would be great too. I will reward you with smiles, licks, snuggles, loyalty, love and laughter.

As Maloo is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because he'll need to be returned to our vet for desexing when he's approximately 5 months old.

Maloo’s adoption fee is $500 and includes his desexing, vaccinations and microchipping and he's been treated for fleas and worms.
