About Nox
Stunning little Nox is currently living the dream in her 2.5 acre foster home, along with her sister, Emmy and 5 other host dogs. Whilst she loves to run and play with the other dogs in her foster home, she is very much drawn to her people and thinks the best place for her to be, is next to her human or in their lap.
At this stage, Nox has not completed any formal training, but is learning to 'sit' on command, 'stay', recall, and is crate trained for sleeping. She's a super smart girl and extremely affectionate towards her humans. Leash training is in full swing and there has been no issues with fighting the lead or chewing on it.
Nox can get a little startled with loud noises/raised voices, although there have been no issues with storms. She loves her furry friends, but can be a little dominating with other timid or reserved dogs. We believe that Nox would thrive in a home where she had an older, more confident companion dog or as an only dog where she had the company of her humans. There has been no food aggression around the other dogs and loves playing with most toys and chewing on sticks in the garden.
This gorgeous girl is currently not living with children, but she would be fine around older children (8+) who can assist with her training and handle her active, boisterous energy. She's very food orientated, so training will be more focused. Nox enjoys snuggle time with her humans on the couch and doesn't cope well with being left alone for long periods of time, but will settle quickly in her crate.
We recommend a home without pocket pets, smaller dogs or chickens, although this may be alleviated with training. We cannot emphasize enough, the importance of ongoing training through the puppy stage and young adult. What you put into your dog, is what you'll get back :)
