About Moobi
Moobi is a sweet, funny and playful little girl who will be very happy to meet you! She loves people and greets visitors to her foster home with a wagging tail and a cute little face that begs to be cuddled. She has met a three-year-old child and been very gentle, though would be best suited to a home with older children with whom she can run and play. After a super fun game of fetch, she likes nothing more than to snuggle on the couch with her humans for a spot of TV and belly rubs. When her humans aren’t ready to play, she amuses herself with toys. She loves to chew but will only chew on her toys. She is easy to handle and doesn’t mind being picked up, having her ears and teeth checked, and having her paws touched.
This girl loves other dogs and has politely and enthusiastically greeted the neighbourhood cohort. She is good with dogs of all shapes and sizes, from Chihuahuas to German shepherds, and is in foster care with a Labrador, with whom she loves to wrestle and chase. She tends to hog the toys, but is not defensive of them. Moobi will be very happy with a well-matched canine companion in her new home, though she is just as happy with attention from her humans. She also likes her feline foster sibling and has been friendly with other neighbourhood cats, so a dog-savvy cat in her new home will be a bonus.
Moobi loves food and is very responsive to training. She has learned to sit, drop and stay in one week. She came into care with no training at all and would love her new family to continue teaching her new tricks. Her toilet training is progressing well and her new family will need to continue this process. She is good at walking on leash, though she doesn’t seem to have been out in the world much and sometimes barks at unfamiliar things. A quick whistle and a treat is enough to distract Moobi and this behaviour has declined as she has become more comfortable with the outside world. A 45 minute walk in the morning and evening, plus a game of fetch in the living room, is enough to have her sleeping through the middle of the day. She has the stamina to accompany you on your weekend errands and trips to the beach.
She will easily fit into variety of homes and families. She is mostly quiet and will be suited to apartment life, though she’d also be happy with a backyard to run and play in. Moobi sleeps quietly through the night in her crate and is quiet when left home alone for a few hours. She occasionally barks at sounds in the distance when outside, so would like to be left inside when her new family aren’t home. She will need to sleep inside at night.
We are looking for a home with another playful dog at home for company or someone home most days that is able to offer her access to other dogs. Moobi is a delightful little dog and her new forever family will be very lucky to have her!
if you think you can offer this gorgeous girl a forever home, please complete an adoption enquiry form via our Fetching Dogs website as the next step.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
