Hi Everyone! I’m Rodney. I’m a happy, confident, relaxed puppy and have a bubbly personality. I love to please my foster carer although I can sulk if I don’t get my own way ;) I like to sit and watch what she’s doing. She says I’m clever and gives me lots of cuddles which are just awesome! I talk to her with little grumbles and guzzles when she pats me. I like her Big Dog too. He teaches me lots of new things. We play together a lot and foster mum says I make a lot of noise when I’m playing. I’d be OK living without another dog as long as we visited the doggy park a lot. Fosterland also has quail and guinea pigs and I don’t mind them either.

When I came to SAFE, I had a nasty ear infection. To be on the safe side, the vet wants me to have antibiotics for maybe a couple of months. But I’m very good at taking the medicine and I can hear everything just fine :) If you want to have pet insurance, this might affect my policy - you’d need to check.

Like all puppies, I require training, lots of socializing with other dogs/animals and strict boundaries all to help me become the best family member that I can be. These things are especially important for a pup like me because I’m going to be quite a big boy :) SAFE thinks I might be medium-large in size when fully grown.

A few hours in a plane is absolutely worth it for remotely located animals like me - it means we have the opportunity to be adopted. Flights to Perth for dogs are capped at $150 thanks to QANTAS, and I can fly elsewhere in Australia too.
