About Minnie
Minnie is a really sweet little girl and once she's had some time to settle and feel comfortable in her new home she is a happy, bouncy little girl who loves cuddles and attention.
This lady had been an only dog in her previous home and had no interaction with other dogs. She is currently in foster care with other small dogs and is learning how to socialise and enjoy their company. She will be looking for a home with a small, calm desexed male doggy friend to live with so these new found friendships can continue.
Due to the fact that Minnie has had very little socialisation in her life she will only be suited to a home with no young children/grandchildren and no cats. She is still adjusting to life outside of her previous home and is easily overwhelmed by new interactions and is not comfortable being in their company.
Minnie has always been an inside dog. She is toilet trained but a few accidents may be had while she is settling in to her new home. She will always do her best to go out but will need some patience and understanding while she adjusts to her new surroundings. She is a happy girl if she can snuggle up with her people and share their chair or bed with them for lots of smooches and snuggles
Minnie travels well in the car and enjoys going for drives with her foster carer. She gets a little nervous meeting new people but warms to them quickly once she feels safe. Social outings and regular walks will be very important to offer her some much needed socialisation.
Considering Minnie's thick coat, she will require regular grooming to keep her looking her best and to keep her cool in the coming warmer months.
Please contact us if you can meet the above mentioned needs required for little Minnie
Currently in care in Cockatoo, VIC
Medical notes
Minnie has had a recent vet check and they mentioned a slight popping in one of her knees.
The vet said it is of no cause for concern and is not causing her any discomfort at this stage in her life. We can not say if it will become an issue later on in her life.
Adoption details
If you think one of our animals would be a good match for your home please email us and we will be in touch shortly after. We all work fulltime, have families and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require any other dogs in your home meeting our foster animal before they head home with you. This enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
All our animals are available for a two week trial with full refund. They are also covered by a lifetime return policy. If you ever find yourself unable to care for or keep your pet please contact us and they will come back into our care, this is a condition of our Adoptions.
