About Honey
This little cutie is Honey.
Once Honey has been given some time to warm to new people, she is very affectionate and will be happy to share lots of cuddles. She is still young and is very bouncy, enthusiastic and easily excited.
She will be best suited to a home with no young children/grandchildren as she can be very jumpy and sometimes mouth people when she is in one her crazy moods. She is a very happy girl who loves life and has a very entertaining personality.
While she has been in our care, Honey has shared her home with other dogs and has shown to be quite dominant with them, she is very reactive towards other dogs when she's on lead so care will need to be taken on walks and anywhere she may encounter new dogs. A home with no other dogs will be necessary for Honey.
We are looking for a home for her where someone is home majority of the time, she will not cope spending her days on her own. She will become very lonely and has shown to be destructive if she is left alone for long periods of time.
Considering Honey's breed, she is prone to weight gain. Regular walks will be very important for her to stay active and keep her weight at a healthy level. Tasty treats should be kept to a minimum. She also loves her toys so they are good way to offer her a reward without all the extra calories.
Honey is toilet trained and will let you know when she needs to head outside. She currently spends a lot of her time indoors and is offered a warm and safe bed inside overnight. She usually sneaks her way on to her care's bed so she can be close and get lots of snuggles. It will be important for her to be allowed to sleep inside in her new home to help her adjust more quickly and comfortably. She craves lots of contact with her people and will become distressed and possibly bark if she is not allowed inside to share her time with her family.
Regular outings and trips in the car are something Honey really enjoys. She is a social girl but does take a few minutes to warm to new people so hectic environments should be avoided but drives to the beach, local parks etc will be a great way for her to feel like an important part of her new family.

Adoption details
If you think one of our animals would be a good match for your home please email us and we will be in touch shortly after. We all work fulltime, have families and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require any other dogs in your home meeting our foster animal before they head home with you. This enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
All our animals are available for a two week trial with full refund. They are also covered by a lifetime return policy. If you ever find yourself unable to care for or keep your pet please contact us and they will come back into our care, this is a condition of our Adoptions.
