Bailey *On Trial in His New Home*

*BAILEY IS TRIALING HIS NEW HOME - NO MORE ENQUIRIES/APPLICATIONS PLEASE* Hi everyone my name is Bailey, or “beautiful Bailey-boy” as my foster mum likes to call me….aww shucks! I may be 7 years old but you certainly couldn’t tell could you! I am full of beans and love nothing more than to run and play with my friends; human, dog, cat, chicken I don’t care I just love friends!!

I have bounced from home to home in my life and just haven’t found the right one for me yet. It’s not my fault, my families are just always so busy and I miss out on the love and attention I need. I want nothing more than a caring family who will give me the love I deserve; I hope it will be with you!

I am a bit of a charmer I must admit, my foster mum calls me “a special and loving all-rounder”. I love cuddles on the couch with my humans, but I’m also happy to just curl up and have a sleep on my mat or a laze in the sun on my day bed. I really don’t like being alone and need my family and friends around me to make me feel safe. I can be vocal about it too! I figure it’s my time to speak up and if I want a cuddle I will let you know, I don’t want to be ignored anymore! I don’t bark any other times though, I am actually really quiet.

I hadn’t had any training and spent all my time outside, however, my foster mum says I am just so clever and learn really easy! She has already taught me to sit, stay, I walk beautifully on a lead, have good recall, I know what ‘no’ means when I try to sneak my brother and sisters food (I love food!!) and I have not had any accidents in my new home…..and all that in just a few short weeks, imagine what I could learn in a few months! I just want to be loved and try so hard to please my family. Despite being outside most of my life, I don’t like that at all! I love being inside with my family and sleep on my mat in my foster mums bedroom. I definitely like this inside thing and want to keep doing it forever!

I like to think I am pretty chilled out. I have my moments of excitement and play with toys and my friends, and I get super excited and spin really, really fast when my foster family get home, that is just the best!! There are lots of things I love; food, toys, swimming in the river, going for drives with my ears flapping in the wind…..oh and kids, I just love kids!! In my first two homes I grew up with six kids from the time they were babies all the way up to 14 year olds, I loved them all. I always let them pat me and roll over on my back to show them I’m not a threat, I am so gentle. I do this party trick when I want a pat I will run as fast as I can up to you and suddenly stop, drop and roll!! The kids love it, I love to make them laugh!
