Polar is a sweet boy who is looking for a very special family for him to love.
He has grown up in a foster home with larger resident dogs and has watched other puppies come and go as they found their forever homes. Polar has completed puppy school and is more than ready for a home of his own.
He is a sensitive lad who also likes to explore his environment.
Polar travels quietly in the car. When younger he slept without fuss in his crate at night, but now has upgraded to sleep beside his foster mum's bed. His toilet training is going well.
Polar will grow to be on the larger side. Ongoing training is always to help with the bond between human and dog. Polar responds well to positive reinforcement based training.
Polar is an inside/outside boy, but only slept inside at night.

Polar has/will have the following vetwork completed:
~ Desexed
~ 2 x Vaccinations (C3 & C5)

Adoption details
Adoption Process for adopting a Lucky Paws Dog Rescue pet.
An Adoption application MUST be filled out prior to the meet and greet with the animal.
If successful, our foster carer will be in touch within 24-48 hours.
A 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place. You must bring your current dog along to the meet and greet if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption. If meeting a cat we do not recommend brining your current dog/cat as this may stress the cat/kitten out.
The animal MUST not be taken on the day unless PRIOR ARRANGED (travelling over a 3 hr round trip), we will NOT ACCEPT the animal to be taken on the day if less then 2 days notice is given. If prior arrangement is made, an adoption agreement/s and payment must be made before collection of the animal.
A 10 day trial period commences once the animal has been collected from the foster carer.
The Adoption is the. finalised after 14 days and paperwork is sent via email. Please note this cna take up to 4 weeks pending on the microchip paperwork.
Sorry we can’t take calls, as our rescue is run entirely by volunteers, but we endeavour to respond to your email within 24 - 48 hours. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: WE DO NOT HOLD ANY ANIMALS SO PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU ARE READY TO ADOPT NOW
