About Sally ~ Jack Russell Terrier (on trial 2/12/17)
Sally is a 6 year old female tri colour Jack Russell Terrier. She has a beautiful nature, always wanting to be where you are.
Sally is an inside dog who must sleep inside. She feels the safest sleeping on the end of your bed. Sally is timid to begin with and will need a patient family who will not overwhelm her when she first arrives in your home.
Sally is toilet trained and gets along well with calm children. She overreacts to the presence of a cat but is fine to live with another small, calm dog.
Sally knows basic commands and would enjoy being taken for a walk. She is walking well on a lead enjoying her special time with you. Sally also enjoys a snuggle on your lap once she trusts you.
Sally is in foster care in Maryland, NSW (Lake Macquarie) and is available for adoption interstate. For more information or to meet Sally, please contact Jaime by email jaihol@bigpond.com or on 0410 491 882, leaving a message with a name and contact details.
Sally’s adoption fee is $350 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
