About Serena ~ Staffy X (on trial 20/11/2017)
Gorgeous little Serena is a 5 month old Staffy X looking for a loving new family who can't wait to shower her with affection and attention. She is the sweetest, sookiest girl who just wants to be by your side or on your lap whenever she can. She is equally friendly with adults and children - everyone is a new best friend to Serena. Cuddles are her favourite thing in the world.
Serena is still working on her training to come when called but is overall a well behaved, good natured and easy going dog. She walks well on lead, is not a digger or escape artist, and rarely barks.
Serena will a daily walk and mental stimulation such as toys, training, and time with her people. She copes well with being left home when necessary although being such a social girl, she of course doesn't enjoy this for long periods of time. If you have another dog then Serena will need to meet them first to make sure they are compatible.
For more information or to meet Serena, please send an email to suemasens65@hotmail.com. Serena is in foster care in Belmont South, NSW (Lake Macquarie) and is available for adoption interstate.
Serena’s adoption fee is $450 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
