About Frankie J ~ Chihuahua X (on trial 1/12/2017)
Frankie J is a 6kg pocket rocket. He is a 4 year old Chihuahua X who loves to chase toys, tug ropes & play tug. The other side of Frankie J is he also loves a sleep in, going back to bed, snuggling under your blankets, just a lump in your freshly made bed.
Frankie J is house trained to a doggy door & is learning to sit & stay. He loves to go for walks and is good on the lead. Frankie J is not suited to children as he can get excited when playing tug & fingers may get accidentally bitten if you are not careful. He hasn't been tested with cats, but I can't imagine he would be a fan.
Frankie J is a also lap dog, enjoying cuddles and snuggles when the playtime is over. Frankie J gets on well with other dogs after an introduction but would be happy as an only dog if his humans were home often. This gorgeous boy is fox like in his features with very long legs. He is quick to love & trust & his eyes focus on you when you talk to him, with his head slanting as though he is listening intently. As a stray, we may not know this babes history but his future, well that we plan on it being amazing. Can you see Frankie J in your future ?
For more information or to meet Frankie J, please contact his foster carer Anne on anne4drn@gmail.com. Frankie J is in foster care in Singleton, NSW and is available for adoption interstate.
Frankie J’s adoption fee is $500 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
