About Rocky
Meet Rocky a German Shepherd blend and Siberian Husky so if you are looking for the intelligence of a shepherd but like the soft downey coat and playfulness of the Husky then this young lad may be your next fur buddy.
Rocky has just turned eleven months of age and unfortunately his family have made the hard decision to find him a new home as they worked full time and just didn’t have time for him. Rocky is located at Macquarie Fields.
Rocky is still a puppy and so will need lots of playtime and walks and further basic obedience and lead training.
This active shepherd cross Husky is smart and loves life so we recommend a family who enjoy lots of outdoor activities.
Due to his youth and exuberance we would recommend a home with children over 10 years of age who are prepared to share their yard and soccer ball with Rocky.
Rocky has come from a family home and has had inclusion in the home he just needs a stable home environment with a committed active family who will continue with his training. Being this young Rocky wants to play with all the dogs but is untested with cats or pocket pets.
If you think you can give this boy a new home, please contact us.
Medical notes
Rocky is fully vaccinated, microchipped and desexed, he has been flea treated and wormed.
Adoption details
We have an Adoptions Manager who screens all prospective candidates as to their suitability to adopt a German Shepherd Dog.
We try to contact every one by phone but if that isn't successful we will email our application form to you, which needs to be completed and returned, or you can call us back and we can chat and complete for you. We will also ask you to provide photos of your yard and fencing to enable us to see where the dog will be kept and that they have areas of shade and shelter.
All our dogs are ready to go to their new home, so when you enquire about a dog you must be in a position to take them into your home. We are unable to hold a dog while you fix your fences or go on holiday, etc.
The successful candidate who adopts one of our dogs is provided with an information kit, ongoing support, training and advice on all aspects of feeding, training and general assistance to ensure both the new owner and our rescued dog settle into their home.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
