About Whisky O'Brien
Please note: Whiskey will be rehomed with another young dog for company.
Our lovely Whisky O’Brian is such a great little dog. He is a chi x maltese x pomeranian. He adores people and dogs so much that he doesn’t like to be without them.
He’s a quiet extrovert – is that possible? Yes he goes up to as many people as he can asking them to pat him but not in an overly excitable way – although he is excitable on leash. He gets so excited by his walks that it’s hard to keep him in a straight line. He is very fit and currently has two one hour walks a day. He can sit, shake hands, and is just mastering a high five. He doesn’t bark much, isn’t a fussy eater, and will wait for you to get up before he makes noises. He’s just a super sweet little boy.
Negative points. He occasionally pees inside but it can be difficult when you live in an apartment. And he doesn’t like to be left entirely on his own.
How could you not want this gorgeous look boy, super sweet and looking for love!
Please note: our dogs are not available for interstate adoption. We also do not adopt to people under the age of 25 years.

Adoption details
We are a community fostercare network, not a shelter, and our dogs and cats are cared for in private homes. Note that we are very careful where we rehome our dogs and cats and we have an intensive process. If you want a quick turnaround we are not the group for you. If you seem like a good match for the dog of your choice we will organise a telephone chat, a meet and greet and a property check. We offer a six-week full refund, free assistance for six weeks for any issues, and a lifetime takeback policy with a fifty percent refund of the adoption fee, and of course an invitation to our adopters’ Christmas party.
We care for our dogs and cats and we want you to as well. We know that genuine applicants have no trouble with this process and understand that if we refuse you a dog or cat, it is because you are not the best match for that pet.
Our commitment to the dogs and cats in our care is total and we treat each one as if we are passing on a family pet. This may not suit you so we point out that there are equally great dogs and cats available in pounds, shelters and with other rescue groups.
