About Millie ED0130
This easygoing, affectionate older girl is looking for a new home.
Millie came to SAFE Esperance as an owner surrender. She’s settled in well with her foster carer and is an absolute delight.
She is a medium sized dog and weighs approximately 18kgs.
Millie is very friendly with people and would be suited to a home where older children visit occasionally. She would not suit a home with cats or small animals as she tends to chase them. She loves other dogs so would be good with another dog in the household.
She pulls a bit on her leash when walking at present but her carer is working on that with her. She’s housetrained and knows some basic commands. She is very eager to please so training is fairly easy with her. She loves to visit the beach with her foster carer and her recall is very good.
Millie loves riding in the car and having human attention, she just laps it up. She will need to be clipped/groomed regularly to keep her coat healthy.
Millie will make a great companion to an active retired person or couple who are home for most of the day, and will need to be a included as part of the family. She needs a home in a quiet area with secure fencing which has no gaps, as she tends to bark and fence run if people and other dogs go by, and as she is very active for her age, will need at least a couple of 30 minute walks per day to keep her happy and healthy. She will also need to be able to sleep inside at night.
If you’re able to offer a home for Millie to live out her golden years, please submit an enquiry and we’ll be in touch.
