About Harlie ~ Bull Arab x Koolie x Dane (on trial 19/11
Harlie is a handsome,18 week old, male Bull Arab x Koolie x Dane puppy. He has a stunning Harlequin coat and with one blue eye and one green eye, he is the best-looking pup on the block. Harlie has a beautiful nature and would make a wonderful family pet.
Harlie will grow up to be a medium to large dog. He is smart and is well on his way to being toilet trained. He is learning to “sit” and walk on a lead, though he would love to learn more with his new family. We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training.
Harlie loves to play with his foster brother who is a large mastiff, so having another dog as a friend to help keep him occupied would be best. He is not a barker nor shown any signs of trying to escape. Toys are fun but mostly he is very chilled and laid back, he can be a bit timid at times. He has been allowed inside and out during the day, but curls up with his buddy on a big bed inside at night.
Harlie loves nothing more than to follow you around and snuggle at any chance. This boy will steal your heart.
Harlie's siblings: Jasper, Pixie, Kota, Rose and Blossom are also available for adoption.
As Harlie is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because he'll need to be returned to our vet for desexing when he's approximately 5 months old.
For more information or to meet Harlie, please email his foster mum Jodi at jodideamer@gmail.com. Harlie is in the Port Stephens area, NSW (north of Newcastle).
Harlie's adoption fee is $500 and includes his desexing, vaccinations and microchipping and he's been treated for fleas and worms. You can see all of our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
