About Henry
Hello there, my name is Henry.
I found my way to Lort Smith quite a few months ago after being transferred from another animal rescue organisation. I required treatment for a couple of medical problems before I could be made available for adoption.
When I arrived, I had a nasty wound on my head and very sore eyes. I had my right eye removed, the wound on my head cleaned and I was treated for cat flu. I'm now a much happier and healthier boy.
I have been recuperating in foster care for a few months and now I'm finally ready to find a new home. I'm a very laid back, cuddly, easygoing cat who would fit into most quiet households. I'm great with other cats and also quite fond of cat friendly dogs.
I love nothing more than climbing into bed or onto the couch for cuddles, I will happily do this for hours on end. Having one eye doesn't impact my quality of life at all. I will however need to be kept as a strictly indoor only cat though.
I come with a medical disclaimer as I am a chronic cat flu carrier, which means that when I am feeling run down or stressed it is likely that I may display cat flu symptoms like a watery eye and sneezing. I may need some antibiotics from time to time for this.
If you're looking for a very affectionate, loving feline companion then please consider meeting me!
Medical notes
Fully recovered from eye removal. I come with a medical disclaimer as I am a chronic cat flu carrier, which means that when I am feeling run down or stressed it is likely that I may display cat flu symptoms like a watery eye and sneezing. I may need some antibiotics from time to time for this.
