About Willow
Willow: The real couch potato!
Don't let her size fool you, this 5-year old big ball of goof loves nothing more than lounging around in the sun or on a comfy sofa. She loves kids of all sizes and ages, but just be mindful of the smaller ones, her bum tends to knock them over. She loves soft dogs toys and playing fetch, although, she tires fairly quickly. She walks well on a leash, just ensure your walking her and not the other way around. If distractions arise, quick, clear and concise corrections work very well. This big lovable ridgeback cross Dane loves going for car rides, ear scratches and just generally positive attention. She's a sensitive giant and gets sad when yelled at or doesn't get greeted when arriving home. She doesn't dig, very rarely chews, can be left alone and only barks if something is amiss. Willow just needs a little help engaging other dogs politely and calmly. Ever met someone that was a bit too full on, had a bit too much energy? That's willow! She just wants to play but skips steps 1, 2 and 3. With a little help, this can certainly be fixed. Overall, she is a fantastic addition to any family or even a single adult. She fills everyone's heart with love and happiness, she definitely deserves the same.
Adoption details
Adoption Process
We send out our application to the new potential family and when our forms are returned we start a process called screening. When we have finished our screening and all information that comes back is approved. We do a meet and greet, sometimes more than two. If all parties are happy, we then allow our foster furkid go into your home. After 3 weeks sometimes more, we do a revisit and see how everyone is going, then we change over microchip registration if everything is great.
