Hey, I'm Skipper but my foster family call me Skip or Skippy Long Legs. My foster mum is pretty jealous of my slender and tanned legs . My fav thing is playing with toys and I hate sitting still. It's all go, go, go for me and I like to be where the action is; this means that I sometimes squeeze under a gate or jump a fence so I can get amongst it. I think kids are awesome because they are as busy and fun as I am. Sometimes I get way too excited and jump up on them, I'm trying hard to control myself as I don't want to hurt the little humans. I love big Bandi but sometimes I show off a bit around other dogs because I'm still young and learning how to be social. 😾I do not like cats, they are annoying and I let them know what I think by barking at them and chasing them away. Food is the best, I can't get enough of it. Mmmm, food. I'm also learning how to enjoy my baths and I love it when foster mum gives me a massage in the bath and a brush afterwards. Life is pretty good here but I can't wait to find my forever family, no cats of course.

Adoption details
Before applying, please consider and finalise the following: real estate approval, fence repair if needed, outside shelter areas and look into the dog's breed dietary requirements eg large breed vs medium breed.
Once you are ready to adopt, please complete the OTC Adoption Application questionnaire below. This is not a contract or agreement of any kind, just an expression of interest in the animal. We will not authorise meets unless this has been completed and only approved applications may meet the dogs. Once you are approved and have submitted all relevant information, we will organise for you to meet the dog at your home, or in a public place. If you have other animals they must be at the meet.
If at the meet, you and the dog get along- you have the option of either taking the dog on the spot (in exchange for the full adoption fee paid upfront, and contract signed)- or placing the dog on hold for up to 2 days without any holding fee applicable. When adoption begins you will be provided with 7 days' worth of food for the dog, as well as what brand and type of food it is, so that you may change their diet carefully and slowly, or purchase more, if needed.
*PLEASE NOTE we do not hold dogs for 3 days or longer, without a non-refundable holding deposit of $100. If you are unwilling to put a deposit on the dog, we will continue to advertise and speak with other potential adopters and so you may miss out. We have had to make the deposit non refundable to avoid time-wasters, especially when it comes to puppies under 5 months of age. The $100 holding deposit is then subtracted from the outstanding adoption fee, which is to be paid at collection of the dog. Eg if full adoption fee is $450, and you pay a $100 holding fee so we can hold the dog for a week- the day you collect the dog you will sign and adoption contract, and pay the remaining $350 fee of which $50 is non-refundable.
During the trial period, should the pet become ill, you must present it to the OTC-approved vet clinic in your area and OTC will cover any treatment needed.
On commencement of the trial period, OTC will send you a copy of your signed contract, the vaccination cards, desexing certificate and microchip number implant details.
So. Ready to roll? Then fill out the attached short form, and we will be in contact to successful applicants asap. Feel free to follow us up via Facebook page inbox.
