About Winnie ~ Rotti x Lab x Staffy (on trial 21/11/201)
Hi my name is Winnie and I am a very cute Rottweiler x Labrador x Staffy. I am 7 months old so still a pup with puppy traits.
I have had some training, I can sit and I can wait for my food before eating, stay but if you get too far away from me I crawl to be closer, I come when called. I love learning new things and do really well when treats are on offer. It would be great if someone could teach me some new tricks as I enjoy the brain stimulation. I am toilet trained if I can take myself outside, occasionally I have an accident if there is no access to the yard.
I currently sleep inside (and if I am allowed, love to sleep on the bed) but do like to sleep outside in my kennel if it hot.
I absolutely love going to the dog park to have a play with the other dogs and run around. I enjoy my walks but I am a little awkward on the lead so do prefer a walking harness. I might need a little training with my walking on lead.
I don’t mind being on my own for short periods of time but at the moment I don’t have a doggy friend. Since I am young and get bored trying to entertain myself I would love a furry companion to hang out with and play with. I am a calm pup and if you come over to me I lay down and roll over for a tummy rub. I am a bit of a sook and love a good tummy rub!
I am not a barker and have never tried to jump the fence. I do do a bit of chewing but maybe soon I will grow out of this.
I would suit a family but sometimes I jump up to say ‘hello’ so maybe kids that are over 8 years old would be more suitable. A young couple or a semi retired couple would also be suitable. I really just want someone to love and look after me. Can I just mention again, that I would love a furry family member?
If you would like to meet me, Sharron is taking all enquires for me. Please contact her on 0423 331057 or email sstudley3@bigpond.com. I am living in Waratah at the moment and am available for adoption interstate.
Winnie’s adoption fee is $450 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
