About Toffee ~ Amstaff x Bull terrier (on trial 8/1/18)
Hi, my name is Toffee. I am a 7 year old American staffy x Bull terrier who loves affection and attention. I am looking for someone to love and care for me.
My favourite thing to do is to go for a walk and I get so excited. After I get over my excitement I will walk by your side but initially I do tend to pull so I would appreciate a walking harness.
Another of my favourite pastimes is to play fetch with toys or a stick. I am very good at retrieving and will even drop it at your feet. I have lots of energy so can for as long as you like.
I am toilet trained and will also never have any accidents during a walk let alone in the house. I have basic training and can sit, stay and come when called.
I currently sleep outside on my bed on an undercover area but do like time with my human friends so if I can come inside for a bit of love I would really like that.
I don’t really like other dogs too much as I really want you all to myself so I do need to be an only dog. I am good with kids but I sometimes forget about how big I am so would be best suited for children over 10 years old. Unfortunately I don't like cats and pocket pets. I am not a barker unless it is necessary.
I am so excited to find my forever home with you and I promise to be a loving, loyal and a caring dog. So please pick me!
If you would like to meet me, my foster mum’s name is Natasha and she is happy to talk to you about me. Her number is 0433 320 918 (text only) or email her gazinginward@hotmail.com. I am located in Glendale, NSW and am available for adoption interstate.
Toffee’s adoption fee is $200 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
