About Sammy
This adorable lady is Sammy. She is a very sweet and affectionate girl who would love to find a home where she will receive all the company she deserves. Being a senior doesn't slow her down, she walks well on lead, travels very well in the car and enjoys her outings to visit new people.
Sammy is a sweet girl who loves everyone and will make a very loyal companion. She really enjoys spending her time inside with her foster family and is happy to be with you as you go about your day. A home where she will be mostly indoors and can sleep inside will be the perfect match for her. She would love nothing more than to curl up on your lap for cuddles and share you bed with you to take care of her special person.
While she has been in her foster home, Sammy has been good with other calm dogs but she is happy as an only dog too as long as she has human company most of the time.
Her age hasn't slowed her down. She can get jumpy and excited so a home with no small children/grandchildren is necessary.
Sammy will only be suited to a with No cats or small animals.

Medical notes
Sammy does make a 'snoring' type of noise when she is awake. This has been checked by two veterinarians and all examinations have come back with no indication of any breathing/throat issues. This doesn't seem to bother her and the vets believe it is having no impact on her medically or physically.
We will assist in the future if this needs ongoing medical attention but currently the vets have given her the all clear and are confident there is nothing of concern.

We do require any other dogs in your home meeting our foster animal before they head home with you. This enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
All our animals are available for a two week trial with full refund. They are also covered by a lifetime return policy. If you ever find yourself unable to care for or keep your pet please contact us and they will come back into our care, this is a condition of our Adoptions.
