About Arjie ~ Blue cattle dog (on trial 15/11/2017)
This very handsome man is Arjie, Smithfield Blue Stumpy Tail cattle dog who is 4 and a half years old. Arjie is a happy, energetic fellow who loves playing, walks and hanging with the family. As a bonus, enjoys a snuggle too.
Arjie is extremely intelligent, loving, loyal and can be a bit protective of his people. He is well trained: he can sit, stay, come when called, high five and shake hands. He is fully house trained and currently sleeps inside but has slept outside as well for a period of time in a kennel in an undercover area.
Arjie loves other dogs and enjoys having a good play. We are unsure how he is with cats and pocket pets.
Arjie would suit a family with children over 10 years old, an active couple or retired couple.
If you are interested in meeting Arjie, please contact Sharron by phone/text 0423 331 057 or email sstudley3@bigpond.com. Arjie is located at Bar Beach, NSW. He is available for adoption interstate.
Arjie's adoption fee is $450 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
