Henry is an adorable little gentleman that has fitted in beautifully in his foster family's household. He gets along well with other dogs but doesn't mind telling them off occasionally. He takes no notice of the cats so will be fine in a cat household.
I've had my rowdy 2 1/2 year old grandson here to visit and Henry tolerates him well too though he does usually find a quiet spot away from him. He's very good with his bathroom habits. I either take him outside, where he goes as soon as he hits the grass, or he toddles out the back.
He's a lovely companion dog and spends most of the day snoozing on the lounge beside me or on his doggy bed. He doesn't eat much as he's a little fella and is a low maintenance dog.
He would be perfect for an older person/couple looking for a sweet, little dog that will just adore them. One important thing I also like about Henry is that he doesn't get under your feet like a lot of small dogs can do.
Medical notes
Henry has had the following vetwork completed:
~ Desexed

~ Microchipped
~ Heartworm Tested
~ Heartworm Treated
~ All-Wormed
~ Flea Treated
Adoption details
Adoption Process for adopting a Lucky Paws Dog Rescue pet.
An Adoption application MUST be filled out prior to the meet and greet with the animal.
If successful, our foster carer will be in touch within 24-48 hours.
A 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place. You must bring your current dog along to the meet and greet if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption. If meeting a cat we do not recommend brining your current dog/cat as this may stress the cat/kitten out.
The animal MUST not be taken on the day unless PRIOR ARRANGED (travelling over a 3 hr round trip), we will NOT ACCEPT the animal to be taken on the day if less then 2 days notice is given. If prior arrangement is made, an adoption agreement/s and payment must be made before collection of the animal.
A 10 day trial period commences once the animal has been collected from the foster carer.
The Adoption is the. finalised after 14 days and paperwork is sent via email. Please note this cna take up to 4 weeks pending on the microchip paperwork.
Sorry we can’t take calls, as our rescue is run entirely by volunteers, but we endeavour to respond to your email within 24 - 48 hours. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: WE DO NOT HOLD ANY ANIMALS SO PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU ARE READY TO ADOPT NOW
