About Enya
Meet our gentle Enya who is a loving young German Shepherd that has come to us via an animal shelter in Sydney.
This poor darling was not microchipped so we are guessing her age between 18 months and two years of age as she is still very puppyish.
Enya of course had no history so we have provided her with a new name to start the transition to her new life.
Enya is in care with a couple who regularly foster our shepherds and Enya immediately settled into their home and is completely trust worthy, not a fence jumper.
She is house trained and loves her cuddles and seeks out affectionate with her carers. She needs her confidence boosting so an understanding home where she can regain her trust in humans after being dumped at a Pound.
Enya is currently in foster care at Cumberland Reach, NSW (about 25 mins north of Windsor).
Enya is learning to be a well behaved young dog and she loved having a brush, bath and pedicure the other day, but then what girl wouldn't.
We are looking for a committed person, couple or family who will ensure Enya has regular daily exercise, inclusion in the family home and be an integral family member.
Enya has not been exposed to cats or pocket pets at this stage and being a German Shepherd she would have the interest to possibly chase so preferably a home with no pocket pets and cats. If she is to go to a home with an existing dog then we recommend a friendly male dog of similar size.
This beautiful lady deserves the best start to her new life so for more information on Enya please contact us.
Medical notes
Enya is fully vaccinated, microchipped and desexed, she has been flea treated and wormed.
Adoption details
We have an Adoptions Manager who screens all prospective candidates as to their suitability to adopt a German Shepherd Dog.
All our dogs are ready to go to their new home, so when you enquire about a dog you must be in a position to take them into your home. We are unable to hold a dog while you fix your fences or go on holiday etc.
The successful candidate who adopts one of our dogs is provided with an information kit, ongoing support, training and advice on all aspects of feeding, training and general assistance to ensure both the new owner and our rescued dog settle into their home.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
