Dash D3686

Hi there! My name’s Dash - yep, I’m super fast:) I’m an athlete! I’m a friendly, very affectionate and high energy boy. I’m clever too. I’ve still got my puppy pants on but now I’m learning this thing that’s new to me. It’s called “training”. I know my name already and respond to verbal cues. And I love playing games with my carers.

My foster carers are really understanding that I haven’t had “training before”. They’re teaching me that it’s not OK to jump or to be mouthy. I love chewing so my carers give me chew toys to play with and switch them around a lot. If I start to chew something I shouldn’t, they give me one of those instead. It’s a lot of fun playing with these toys! They feel great in my mouth and I love that I get different sorts to chew.

I’m really looking for a home with people who are athletic like me and who are calm, but firm and consistent with me. It will be important for me to exercise twice a day. And with a short daily dog training session to challenge and wear out my active brain, I reckon I’m gonna make a great companion :)

A few hours in a plane is absolutely worth it for remotely located animals like me - it means we have the opportunity to be adopted. Flights to Perth for dogs are capped at $150 thanks to QANTAS, and I can fly elsewhere in Australia too.
