About Bonnie ~ 1.5yo friendly kelpie x girl
Bonnie is a lovely 19 month old Kelpie X. She is a smart and friendly girl who has a beautiful black coat and gorgeous eyes.
Bonnie always wants a cuddle and will happily sit on your lap and sleep. She gets on well with other dogs and loves to play. She also loves her dinner.
Bonnie will grow up to be a medium sized dog. Being a Kelpie, she will have a lot of energy and need a good walk, preferably a run every day. She is already demonstrating she will be a particularly loyal, smart and alert dog - as a working breed she will be highly trainable.
Bonnie is toilet training and her obedience training is coming along well. We always recommend training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training.
Bonnie would love to have another dog to keep her company. She would like to find a family who enjoys having their dog be part of all aspects of their life, from weekend outings to cuddling up inside in the evenings. As an active breed, she will need a decent sized yard with good fencing.
For more information or to meet Bonnie, please contact Barbara by emailing johnnolan64@hotmail.com or on 0422 822 169. Bonnie is located in Hunterview, NSW (north-west of Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.
Bonnie's adoption fee is $500 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered. You can see all of our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
