Monty, Lovable Little Maltese Fellow

Great news! monty has gone to a newcastle home on a fortnight's trial. -----looking for a new best friend? well, i'm looking for one too. Someone who will adopt me and love me forever. So why not check me out? my name is monty and i have recently been placed in foster care after dabs rescued me from the pound. The 2nd picture shows how i looked when i arrived at the pound with my long coat during that awful heat wave over new year. Finally one of the kind staff members took pity on me and gave me the nice short summer haircut you see in the top photo. My foster carer says that for an 6 year old i'm remarkably active and young at heart. That dear lady has other nice things to say about me too. . . . . She says i'm very lovable and well behaved and would make an excellent companion for either a single person or a family. And, as an added bonus - i enjoy the company of other little doggies. My adoption fee of $200 is to cover the cost of my vaccination, microchipping, desexing, heartworm test (negative result), worming and flea prevention.
