About Bungee (AV996)
Hey there! I'm Bungee and I'm a total dude. Friendly, affectionate, easy-going and well-mannered are good ways to describe me. I have a curious and happy nature and love to make new friends with everyone I meet so if you're looking for a best buddy then I'm the guy for you. I haven't really had much chance to learn commands so when you ask me to do things I give you a bit of a blank stare - but I am house-trained, walk well on the lead and am calm and polite in the car. I don't jump up and I like to calmly suss out what is going on around me without being overly worried.
Of course I AM still a young staffy so don't think I'm some total couch potato - I love to play and have plenty of energy. I will enjoy a new home where I am included in family activities, walked daily and taken on fun outings to places like the beach or maybe on hikes or picnics or... oh, the possibilities are endless!
My life has been kinda rough so far. No one knows much except that I ended up in the pound with a deadline over my head and was lucky to come out alive. As you can see I'm pretty banged up with a fair few scratches and scrapes. I think maybe another dog didn't like me much (though I don't know why!!) As you can see in my pics (which were taken just after I was busted outta the pound) I have been wearing a big heavy chain around my neck. That was taken off and I have to say I feel SO much better!
I seem to get on well with all dogs, but a nice friendly female dog would be my dream companion. Or it can be just me and you. I'm not so sure about cats yet though I don't seem to find them all that exciting so a slow intro could see me making good friends with a meow! My experiences with kids are unknown but my easy-going and friendly nature suggests I should be fine with children.
I'm a pretty great all-rounder. Did I mention I am also ridiculously handsome and (since being bathed when I arrived) have the most luxuriously soft fur?
What's not to love?
Adoption details
Thank you for taking the time to view one of our lovely animals. We love them all and we hope you will too.
If you would like to know more about an animal please call Freedom on 0409 000 259. If it sounds like you and the furry creature are a suitable match then we will pass on the foster carer’s details to you so you can call and make a time to meet them.
Once you have met the animal and wish to go further then we may organise a yard check to ensure that your yard is safe and secure (dogs only). You can then take your new family member home on a 2 week trial and if you decide they are not suitable then you can return them.
If you are not sure how existing animals in your home might be affected, or you want a little extra time to get to know the nature of the animal, we may allow you to foster with a view to adopt.
